Meet Ben
Hey, I’m Ben! I’m a husband, dad of two boys, golfer, and someone who loves to travel. Whether it’s a family trip to Disney World, a golf trip with friends, or exploring somewhere new, I’m usually looking forward to the next adventure. If I can somehow combine golf, Disney, and a family vacation, even better!
My wife, Rose, and I have been taking our boys, Ryder and Brady, to Disney World for years, and along the way, we’ve learned quite a bit about planning trips, saving money, and making the most of our time in the parks. I’m the guy who enjoys figuring out the details, finding ways to stretch our travel budget, and putting together a plan so we can spend more time enjoying ourselves once we get there. Of course, traveling with kids means things don’t always go according to plan, and we’ve learned plenty from those experiences, too.
Outside of family vacations, golf is a huge part of my life. I love traveling to play new courses, putting together golf trips with friends, and experiencing everything that comes with visiting a new destination. Some of my favorite travel memories have come from golf trips, both on and off the course.
I started Ben Traveling because I wanted a place to share our experiences, the guides I’ve put together, and some of the things I’ve learned along the way. You’ll find plenty of Disney World information, golf trip recaps, family adventures, and practical travel tips. I’ve also included Ben’s Notebook, where I’ll share some random thoughts, experiences, and whatever else I think might be worth writing about.
I’m certainly not a professional travel agent, but I do enjoy researching, planning, and figuring things out. My hope is that by sharing our experiences, including the things that didn’t go quite as planned, I can help you make the most of your own adventures.
